Contracts on a portal request

A customer with more than one agreement knows which one they are calling about. The Contract step lets them say so, and the request arrives in the office already attached to it.

On the request form. Contract is a system field on request forms, marked customer portal: V2 only. A new form starts with it where you have active contracts.

In the portal. A signed-in customer with active contracts picks one, or answers No or Not sure. Under a contract no prices are shown — the work is covered by the agreement, and an estimate would only confuse it. Whether a booking amount is still asked is the Money setting for contract requests.

In the office. Add and Edit Request list that client’s active contracts. The request page shows Contract : …, and a job made from the request starts under that contract — so the rate card and its quotas apply from the moment the job exists.
